Student Funding:
There may be a number of options that may be relevant to
you when you are considering how to finance your education.
While it would not be possible to list them all here, we have

Scholarships and Bursaries
Each year, Vanguard College makes a number of bursaries
available for students who enroll in a full
time course load. Some of these awards are set aside for students studying through IBOLT. Each year, we make
all current and potential students aware of how these bursaries will be awarded and then they are made available
on a first-come basis for all eligible individuals.

Canada Student Loans
The Canada Student Loans Program promotes accessibility to
post-secondary education by lowering financial barriers through the
provision of loans and grants for Canadians with a demonstrated financial
need.
Students may apply for Canada Student Loans through Vanguard College if they are applying to the 3 year Diploma in Theology program and any of the 4 year Bachelor of Theology Programs. You must apply for Canada Student Loans through your province of residence. You are considered a resident of a province if you have lived there for at least 12 consecutive months, not including any time you spent as a full-time student at a post-secondary institution. To get an application form, simply go to the provincial and territorial Student Assistance Office of residence. Please contact your provincial or territorial Student Assistance Office for details on whether additional forms are needed. Some provinces/territories also offer on-line application. You should contact your provincial or territorial Student Assistance Office for further information, or visit their Web site. High school guidance offices may also provide copies of application forms. For more information, go to the CanLearn website at http://www.canlearn.ca/cgi-bin/gateway/canlearn/en/home.asp |
