Distance Education Course: An introduction to Christian Counseling with the goal of promoting a deeper understanding of Christian Counseling

Course Description: Other counseling approaches will also be reviewed including Brief Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. The course will explore the foundation of Christian Counseling, developing a Therapeutic Relationship, the process of Christian Counseling and major uses of Christian Counseling. In addition, skills will be developed around how to support individuals and families who experience a range of problems.

Prerequisite: DEGS3102 Introduction to Psychology
