Issues in Counseling

Distance Education Course: Building on the course, Introduction to Christian Counseling, students will address and explain a number of issues in counseling practice.

Course Description: 
Students will consider the causation of a wide array of personal and interpersonal problems, with particular focus on biological, personal, social, familial and spiritual causes. Students will research and create treatment plans for a variety of both personal and interpersonal issues and topics may range from: depression, anxiety, pride, anger, forgiveness, addiction, procrastination, family of origin issues, low self-esteem, problems with marital communication, and sexual issues.
