Wisdom Literature (Old Testament)

Course number: DEBS4211 • Credit hours: 3 hrs

Distance Education Course: Poetic Old Testament wisdom literature is a relevant anecdote for modern predicaments.

Course Description: The Old Testament contains some of the most poetic and well-written wisdom literature of the entire Bible. With King Solomon’s writings as the background, this course will take the student on a journey on the meaning of wisdom, examples of types of wisdom, and then introduce the student to a comparison of a life with wisdom and then one without. An excellent and timely course for today when it seems that foolishness abounds in every arena of life.
